Happy Women Crush Wednesday!! Hope all my working-women are having a great Wednesday so far! With today being ‘Working Women Wednesday’, I wanted to discuss how awesome the Women’s Empowerment Brunch was provided by Felicia Gray.
If you know me you know I love to find a great event to attend at least once a week. Meeting new people, being around great energy, getting myself (and business) out there & if FOOD is involved…I AM IN THERE!!
From start to finish, this event was coordinated perfectly. This event was packed and I loved every bit of it! Everyone was dressed in flawless brunch-style looks, pictures were taken in every corner
, there was a group called ‘100 Black Men’ that had the young guys escort us lovely ladies to our tables, and food was THE BOMB
(especially the shrimp and grits).
The beautiful hostess Jacinda Jacobs was up on the stage interviewing 3 other boss ladies Vicki Foster – Asst. Chief of Charlotte Police, Linda Blount – President & CEO of Black Women’s Health Imperative, & Honorable Ty Hands – Mecklenburg District Court Judge. They dropped great advice on being a strong woman while meeting goals without overwhelming yourself, getting past fears, and showing support for one another.
Shout-out to my fashion boo Sierra for coming along with me.:D These types of event really excite me and I was glad to be able to attend. Hopefully next year, y’all (including me) will be in there next year!
