Ruffle Statement Pants

Happy Thursday (aka PRE-FRIDAYYY) my peeps!

Lately the fashion ‘thing’ has been ruffles! I love ruffles but I freaking LOVEEE? them on my pants. Instantly I feel like doing the tango or something when I slide them on!! I had to co-host this past weekend at the club and since I get in such a dancing mood wearing them, I thought it was perfect to wear my flaming red pants!

If you find yourself wanting to buy a pair, I think they look best with crop tops or a bodysuit.

When I caught these pants from GoJane.com (which was on sale by the way – $15), my mind went straight to the Selena. When it came to her looks/fits for her performances, ruffles was her thing and she was killing it in those ruffle pants baby!!????????????

I also got super excited when Beyonce? released her Lil Kim Halloween pictures this past weekend because one of her outfits was similar to my look. I felt like that was a sisterly bond moment we shared, ya know? Great minds think alike basically!!?

So since I think Selena is the queen of killing her performances in ruffle pants and my sister Beyonce aka Sasha Fierce had a similar look, we shall call this look ‘Salsa Fierce‘. What y’all think? I find it quite marvelous if you ask me! Trust me, I didn’t let neither Selena nor Beyonce down, I was dancing just like they would! You can’t get me to sit down for nothing!! Getting hot flashes and all but did that stop me? NOPE!!!?
