That Hot Pink Newsgirl!

It’s THURSDAY! ALMOST FRIDAYYYYYY!! I’m sooo happy y’all as you can tell.? Reasons why is because my job is taking us to Carowinds today! I’m not a big fan of Carowinds because every time I go people expect me to get on all the rides. F.Y.i – I DO NOT RIDE ROLLER COASTERS, so I hope none of my coworkers think I am getting on those rides. I am terrified on heights! Basically you can count on me to be the jacket and purse holder!? O well, I am just glad to be there instead of actually working in the office!

Anywho! Let’s get into what you are really here for. The Outfit.

So I am totally admiring my hat! This newsgirls hat totally reminds me of my grandma. NOT sayyying this is a ‘grandma hat’ but my grandma loves hats. A flashback played in my mind of my grandma wearing a black one very similar to the one I have on, so my thoughts instantly goes to her. I think, no matter fact…I KNOW I get my fashion senses from my grandma because that lady can dress!! GO GRANDMA!!

Actually newgirls hats are based off of ‘newsboys’ hats from those past times where there were “newspaper boys”. The front of the hat are flat and stiff in the front but round in the back. I’m digging these hats, they are very trendy and different from the normal type of hats you see around these days.

Originally I was just grabbing something to throw on but I ended up liking my outfit more than expected. That pink hat and pink purse clearly stood out in such a cute, girly way. On the other end, all that black is giving it a darker look but it balances out the girly feel.

These platform shoes are from AmiClubWear and I got these maybe 3 years ago. This would be my FIRST TIME wearing these! I just don’t understand why I had them for so long and never worn them. I have a thing for shoes with platforms shoes and the spikes adds a cool, rock-star vibe to it! It’s a MUST that I start wearing them more!
