Happy Thursday ladies & gents! No lie, I was suppose to post this post yesterday but I have been feeling quite lazy this week. I barely felt like getting cute!? I use to always look forward to getting cute for work and taking pics but nope, not this week! I knew I had to at least post something instead of posting nothing. I saw potential in one of my outfits tho and decided to do a post on dressing up and dressing down a skirt of mines I wore Tuesday.
I got this skirt maybe 2 years ago from Forever 21 ($12) and I initially purchased it for a night out in Charlotte with my cousin. I loved this skirt because first off, you can’t go wrong with a black and white skirt and secondly, the bold white letters really popped out to me. I was getting compliments all day about my skirt. Since then, I haven’t wore it until this week. (Yeah, another item I keep forgetting I have…figures lol) I am unsure if you all remember, but remember I told y’all I bought several Kim Rogers sweaters from Belk bc they were on sale and SUPER CHEAP? [Don’t remember, click here to see how I slayyyedd the last KR sweater.] Well, I decided before it got too hot outside, I wanted to pull it out yet again and rock it with another Forever 21 skirt. I wore the sweater look at work but I knew later I was going to run a few errands but NOT with the sweater NOR heels. I needed a more relaxed look so in order to pull out a more relaxed look, I just grabbed a tank top, my red Converse, and my jean shirt that I left unbutton. This was a great stylish way to transform into a work fit into a more lazy, casual look! It didn’t take much thought at all! Only thing is, I kinda wish I at least threw on some red lips or had red stud earrings in my ear. Maybe I am overthinking now!?
I promise next week will be a better week for me. I miss feeling my best and posting my pics for you all to see and love!! Don’t sleep on me, I have great things coming!!! 😀
