The Infamous Trendy Slit Skirt

Tuesday (25th) marked my 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!! Ayyyyeee turn up!!! ? ? ?

While I was in Miami a few weekends ago, I went to Lincoln Road Mall and my expectations were kind of high since we were in Miami. I expected to see more stores out of the norm that I don’t usually see in NC/SC. Nope! My hopes were crushed. Only store I cared for was Forever 21 (figured¯\_(ツ)_/¯). Not too bad though because I did walk out the store with a whole outfit.

Throughout the store they had the latest trends of course and that included either the pants or maxi skirts with the slits on the sides. I’ve been wanting these for a while and perfect timing…I watched them place the red skirts along with the black skirts fresh on the rack. That was my sign and they were ONLY $16! Oh how I loveeee? seeing pieces I WANT under $20! I call that a WIN WIN!!

It was easy for to me know I wanted red (F.Y.I – red is my favorite color just incase you want to buy me something special. Hint: Christmas around the corner, you have time??).

I also found this white crop top there too! Loved how it was loose fitting. Only $11! BOUGHT! NO HESITATION! Tried it on and figured ‘hey why not wear it with this skirt with some bomb sneakers’!

If you get a skirt like this, you can easily pair this with a crop top, those cute 1pc. bodysuits (EXAMPLE), or a simple T-shirt (I say tuck in if it’s long).

One thing I wish I would’ve added was more jewelry. I felt somewhat bare like I needed more bangles maybe! Probably overthinking…AGAIN!? What do you think??
