It’s almost that time y’all!! 2 more days until CHRISTMASSSS!!!? I am anxious once again for the food and family time! Around any major holiday time, I like to get in the spirit and get festive. I like to wear pieces of accessories, clothing or colors that closely represents that holiday that is coming up. Christmas, Valentine’s Day, 4th of July, etc., it doesn’t matter, I like to celebrate through my clothing!☺️ For instance, this skirt I am wearing is very Christmas-like. The colors and patterns displayed in the knee-length skirt definitely conveys a Christmas feel.
While standing in my closet, I was trying to think how I wanted to wear this skirt.
I started to flashback to maybe 3 or 4 years ago, I wore this skirt at my grandma’s house for Christmas and I wore it with a black long-sleeve top. I instantly shook my head no because most people would go straight for the black top and black heels with this skirt. Not saying it would be a bad choice, but it was too much of an easy choice for me. I like to try to think a bit out of the box. So I decided to pull out the jean button-up shirt and one of my favorite jean heels this time. You can’t go wrong with adding jean to your look!! I kept receiving compliments at work for this so I felt highly confident that I pulled off a great fit!! What do you think?
